This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and share personal information when you register for or participate in the GoodWe PLUS+ program, use the GoodWe PLUS+ website or related services, or communicate with us about the program.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use GoodWe PLUS+, we may collect:

• Account and contact information, such as your name, email address, phone number, country, company or business name and other profile information.
• Training and certification information, including course participation, progress, assessment results, certifications and certificates.
• Installation claim information, including installation dates, GoodWe product series and models, serial numbers, distributor or partner information, supporting photographs and other information submitted with a claim.
• Program activity information, including Points earned or adjusted, referrals, campaigns, events, webinars and other eligible activities.
• Reward and redemption information, including rewards selected, redemption history and information required to fulfil a reward or payment. Some payment or reward information may be collected directly by the relevant reward or payment provider.
• Communications, including enquiries, support requests, feedback and communication preferences.
• Technical information, such as IP address, browser or device information, login records, cookies and similar information generated when you use the platform.

Please avoid submitting personal information about customers or other individuals unless it is necessary for the relevant installation claim or program activity.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

• create and manage your GoodWe PLUS+ account;
• provide training, assessments, certification and certificates;
• receive, review and validate installation claims;
• verify product serial numbers and prevent duplicate, inaccurate or fraudulent claims;
• calculate, manage and display Points and program status;
• manage referrals, partner bonuses, campaigns and other program activities;
• process and fulfil reward redemptions;
• provide account, claim and redemption notifications;
• provide customer support and respond to enquiries;
• administer, secure, analyse and improve GoodWe PLUS+;
• investigate misuse, fraud or violations of program rules;
• comply with applicable legal, regulatory, accounting and audit requirements; and
• send program updates or marketing communications where you have consented or where otherwise permitted by applicable law.

Where required by law, we rely on your consent. In other cases, we may process information because it is necessary to provide the GoodWe PLUS+ program, comply with legal obligations, or pursue legitimate interests such as program administration, security and fraud prevention.

3. Claim Validation and Automated Checks

GoodWe PLUS+ may use automated tools to assist with installation claim validation. These may include checking product serial numbers, identifying duplicate claims, reading information from uploaded images and identifying claim information that requires further review.

Automated checks support the claim review process. Claims may also be reviewed by authorised GoodWe personnel or service providers. If you believe a claim decision is incorrect, you may contact us for review.

4. How We Share Information

We share personal information only where reasonably necessary with:

• GoodWe affiliates and authorised personnel involved in operating GoodWe PLUS+;
• service providers that provide platform hosting, IT, data processing, communications and technical support for GoodWe PLUS+;
• third-party providers that support Points redemption, reward fulfilment, payments or foreign-exchange processing;
• relevant distributors or program partners where limited information is necessary for a specific partner-linked campaign, installation claim or validation activity;
• professional advisers engaged for audit, legal, compliance or other professional services; and
• government authorities, regulators, courts or other parties where disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect GoodWe, program members or others.

We require service providers processing personal information on our behalf to use it only for authorised purposes and to apply appropriate security and confidentiality measures in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements.

GoodWe does not sell GoodWe PLUS+ members’ personal information.

5. International Data Transfers

GoodWe PLUS+ operates using GoodWe entities and external service providers located in different countries. As a result, personal information may be processed or stored outside the country in which you registered.

This may include processing or storage in Australia, where infrastructure supporting the GoodWe PLUS+ platform may be hosted, and in other countries in which GoodWe or its authorised service providers operate. Data-protection laws in those countries may differ from those in your country.

Where personal information is transferred internationally, GoodWe will take appropriate steps required by applicable law, including contractual, technical and organisational safeguards. You may update your communication preferences or unsubscribe from optional marketing communications at any time. This will not prevent us from sending communications necessary to operate your account or fulfil your requests.

GoodWe PLUS+ may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, maintain security, understand platform usage and improve the user experience.
Where required by applicable law, optional cookies or similar technologies will only be used after the required consent has been obtained.

GoodWe PLUS+ is designed for professional solar installers and is not intended for children.

We may update this Privacy Policy when the GoodWe PLUS+ program, our service providers, legal requirements or our data-processing practices change.
